Grub Street is Towson University's student-produced, award-winning literary and arts journal. We publish fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, and visual art.
We welcome submissions from anyone, not just Towson University students!
Grub Street is produced by students enrolled in ENGL 414 and ENGL 415. But even though we're in the English department, not all of us are English majors! Prerequisites for being a part of Grub Street are completion of ENGL 102 and one additional English course.
Grub Street is generously funded by the Provost's Office and the College of Liberal Arts. In addition, Towson's Creative Services lends us their expertise and collaborates with us to create a professional design to complement our content.
But most importantly, the Grub Street staff is a family. We are a close-knit crew who are intensely passionate about this journal, and we firmly believe that the more we put in, the more we get out of it.
Want to be a part of Grub Street? Sign up during your enrollment period, or consider submitting your work for publication!
