#00001: Jenna Kahn
My name is Jenna, and I am the web editor for Towson University's Grub Street. My desk is home to an assortment of objects that inspire me. A gum wrapper from a meaningful first date, homemade sunflower greeting cards, stickers from my third Small Press Expo, and Studio Ghibli merchandise tags all belong to this creative space. The collection of indie zines, books, and pamphlets remind me of my passion for creating and publishing original content. My Erin Condren Life Planner houses my ideas, appointments, and to-do lists. Each Sunday night, I decorate the coming week with stickers and colorful washi tape. Adding a personal, colorful touch to everything I do is how I stay connected to my various projects.
At this desk, I have written numerous academic papers and short stories, countless blog posts, and too many social media statuses. I love that I can look up from my work and be greeted by a sloth holding a banner that reads, "Nap All Day, Sleep All Night, Party Never." Eclectic and welcoming, my desk represents me.
Comments are always welcome and appreciated.
